Editor's Review

The Hudson's Bay Mastercard is a great store credit card with no annual fee. This credit card is issue by Capital One and doesn't offer purchase protection or extended warranty coverage.

The Hudson's Bay Rewards card! This is yet another fantastic choice, especially for those who love to shop with Canada's famous Hudson's Bay Company. With this card, individuals earn points which can be redeemed at Hudson's Bay.

Unfortunately, this card has a higher interest rate than most and can easily fluctuate since it is based off of the Canadian prime rate. In addition, other fees are in line with averages aside from cash advance fees and missed payment penalties. If you manage the card by making payments on time and in full, you won't face these penalties and, thankfully, there are no annual fees to worry about! But if you frequently use cash advance fees or make payments irregularly, shy away from this card.

In conclusion, this card has the perks of being fairly affordable and you can earn points towards your next Hudson's Bay purchase. Shopping is a reasonable expense at times, but earning points towards something that won't better your finances isn't always the way to go. Fortunately it is available to the majority of Canadians.

Unfortunately, you can't apply for the Hudson's Bay Mastercard online. Instead, the application needs to be made at the store.

if you love to shop at Hudson's Bay stores, this card could be a great choice for you.
