Can The CRA See My Bank Account?

The CRA can access information from all Canadian financial institutions. However, they will not do so unless they have a reason to look. If they do have a reason, such as to check for undeclared investment income or registered account over contributions, they can access your bank account information. This includes current balances and previous transactions.
